I’ve been using it for over a year now and have yet to run into a single issue in production… it’s been so long I’ve forgotten it’s even there, everything just works the old Rails way

Great post and awesome way to extend the framework. Really like your posts and definitely have helped me get my head around the Sencha Touch platform. Looks like the Routing isn’t part of ST 2.0 PR 3, sad face

Thank you Jen, I’m switching a big app from rails 2.3.2 to 3.1.3 and I found this enforcement of html_safe crazy!
This saved me a lot of time, thanks!

After using it in production for a while, did you find any drawbacks?

Hey Luis, that’s correct, the developer preview does not contain the Routing / Dispatching functionality… yet! But rest assured, it will be there in the release. From my understanding, they are rewriting a lot of the “under-the-covers” stuff dealing specifically in that arena.

I started playing with Sencha Touch 2, and I’m wondering if you know about it, but in the developer preview there isn’t Router nor Dispatcher under Ext namespace :S

Interesting post .
I agree with you on the status post. It’s the same as in Switzerland. People can flash it and feel good about themselves. Also, it’s very easy to use, so the transition was easy for people used to Nokia dumbphones.
I still think you bought the Apple TV because you were already using lots of Apple products. It was easier to go with that than to do some research and buy something else, but at $99 a box, it probably wasn’t worth your time to look for anything else…
